Female artists we miss hearing in the music industry

In celebration of International Women’s month, MyChartPH gives you a rundown of 5 female artists that we have not heard in a while. Some are mothers, while others are still singing and yet to have another big break.

Dubbed as Asia’s Soul Siren and one of the original members of ASAP Sessionistas, she is known for her song Someday, and her many covers of popular songs back in the day. Today, she is a mother of one, but she is still singing on some events.

Carol Banawa

She is known as the singer of the theme songs of popular teleseryes, including the theme song of Maalaala Mo Kaya on ABS-CBN. She recently took a break on Social Media since Ash Wednesday.

Sheryn Regis

She is known as the Crystal Voice of Asia, and one of the grand finalists of Season 1 of the defunct Star In A Million. In 2010, her family moved to the United States as part of a career move.

Angeline Quinto

Dubbed as the Queen of Teleserye Theme Songs, she has not yet released a single or album since @LoveAngelineQuinto in 2017.

Toni Gonzaga

“Hello Philippines, Hello World!” You still see her on Television as host of Pinoy Big Brother, and other reality shows, but in the music industry, she has since not yet released an album since 2015. She is a mother to Seve, and a wife to director Paul Soriano.
